Yahoo! Music’s Billy J recently caught up with R&B singer Kelly Rowland to speak about her upcoming album, her new single, signing with Universal Motown, and much more!
Kelly seems extremely happy where she is and it looks like she’s really enjoying herself. While we’re definitely happy for her, we just have to ask, what’s going on with promotion for this new album/single? There have been no “big” interviews, magazine covers, even small television appearances or radio interviews. And unfortunately, “Commander” has dropped off the iTunes chart. We’re rooting for Kelly but at the same time, we’re tired of die-hard stans blaming Beyonce for Kelly’s mediocre success. Clearly, the doors open but her team isn’t doing enough. But with the album release still slated for September (granted there are no push-backs), we’re hoping they get on their grind!
